new clutch time for warrior, or?????
#1
I had some heavy clutch springs and an oil cooler put in my motor along with a 435cc kit about 6 years ago. Lately it has been shifting not so good, and finding nutral is not like it used to be. Not to mention the dreaded poping out of gear problem. I figure taking a look at the clutch is a good place to start, but the oil cooler lines go into the case on the clutch side. Annyone take one of these apart? Figue Id ask before ripping it apart and raising the repair bill.

If it is a FST. Then just un clamp the rubber hose from the brass insert. Then you are ready to take the side cover off. If it is not FST, then just undo what ever kind of fitting is there. But don;t try to take the fittings out of the case.

Yes, they go into teh case. FST machines the case to make oil go through them and into your cooler. If yours is like mine, There will be a round silver metal piece that is in the side of the case. You will se it when you take the clutch cover off. Don't mess with any of that. Just un clap the hoses from the brass fittings. I would suggest a Barnett clutch kit. They work great.
