Can the 98` arctic cat 500 be converted to start in gear like the 99` and newer models? Having to start in neutral can be a pain sometimes, especially when in deep mud or water and if for some unforseen reason the motor cuts out while riding. Any feed-back would be appreciated.

 

No offence intended big-un but this forum is for PERFORMANCE modifications. You may have better luck getting a reply by posting on the Artic Cat forum. Just a thought. :~)

I don't know but I could consider this modification to be perfomance, it save time restarting since you don't have to find neutral so you can get on your way quicker. Isn't that what performance is all about?

I could be wrong but.....?
