Hi everyone, I am new here, and this is my first post, so please forgive me for any mistake I might make. The question I have is what street bike engine would be a good option to swap in my 87' LT500r. I was thinking of a 600cc - 750cc engine from either a 94' Honda CBR600, 96' Yamaha YZF600r, or a 89' Suzuki Katana GSX 750. I guess I am looking for any ideas, or problem areas to look out for. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

The LT 500 is a pretty heavy bike so I would go with a 750 or bigger I had a DS 650 and I ended up using the GSXR 1300 and it is scary fast you can see what I did on my pics page. If you need any help feel free to askbecouse it is a big project but well worth it when you are finished.
