Gearing recommendation

Default Gearing recommendation

on my 07 im having a hard finding a gear that pulls hard when i race up hill at the dunes it usually stays the same all the way up. and alot of other bikes a ride pull and accelerate up and they dont have as much work done. im currently a a 14/38 ive tried the 13/38 and it didnt help. my buddies banshee has a 14/44 and it pulls hard! and he doesnt have nearly as much work done

You have it wrong, if you want more "kick" or "pull" you have to add teeth to the rear sprocket. One tooth in the front usually adds up to about 3-3.5 in the rear. Add about 4 teeth from stock in the rear and that should do it.
