Potential motor swapinto a 85 LT 250 R Frame
#1
Im looking for the best candidates for a motor into my LT 250R frame. I am not looking for the fastest machine, just something unique and fun. Now if I could put a FZR 1100 motor in it I would, but maybe a snowmobile motor or something. Any input would be appreciated.

hey roost.. finally got sik of the ol 249cc non-powervalve system blowing on ya?
oh well i can see what you mean by wanting mo power. If i were you and were serious about it. I wouldgo with the Zilla motor and spark that baby up. It bolts right in. If you got icq talk to 17034456 about his 250/500 swap believe me, if i find the zilla engine at the right price.. its goin in the racer frame , no doubt about it.
oh btw his page is

Dude I got a deal for you. Call Harry at Trinity Racing(thats the owner). Tell him that you heard from Waymod (ME) that he has a big bore stroker kit sitting on his shelf.
Its a big bore sleeve kit with a striker crank (about a 340cc) all the work is done, it just need a good home. You might just have to trade him your cylinder and cases. It'll cost a few bucks but it'll be an arm stretcher.
PS OOPS is yours one of those old case inducted motors. If so this kit won't work.

Guys
I've actually seen that engine at Trinity, comprises a set of cases, stroker crank, cylinder and head. Harry is keen to move it to a serious racer or hill shooter, engine is a stroked 330 with a final size around 360cc
