Well, the "average rider" will get far superior protection from these oils, and improved performance as well....why doesn't that make sense? The difference between run of the mill petroleum oil and high performance oil, is the price of a beer....</end quote></div>
Far superior compared to the synthetic I already run? So if I start putting the fancy oil in the DS250, it's just gonna start pulling the front wheel off the ground?
No, it isn't.
Is the engine suddenly going to grenade cause I used synthetic instead?
No, it isn't.
Is the performance so proven it will put an end to the oils on the market now?
No, it isn't.
Are the marketers of the oil preying on the feeble minded fears of people who think that because it says NEW and IMPROVED, it is suddenly the best thing to ever hit the market?
Hmmmm.

Edit: Is it really $12 a quart? I need 2 quarts at a time so that's $24. I can get 1/2 gallon of fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey for the same price as 1/2 gallon of oil. I would enjoy the whiskey a lot more.</end quote></div>

No sense in having all this new extra power, and not buying this too.
EXP 600 PLUS SUPER HIGH-TEMP RACING BRAKE FLUID - $9 (Fort Worth, 76177)

EXP 600 PLUS SUPER HIGH-TEMP RACING BRAKE FLUID: EXP 600 Plus is a highly refined blend developed for extreme performance under the high heat and extreme pressure of professional motorsports.
What's in a number? EXP 600 Plus has tested to 626 degrees F with a wet boiling point of 417 F. These numbers far exceed any DOT or SAE specifications.
What's the real test? It is true that racing fluids need to have high boiling points. It is also true that fluids need to have low moisture affinity to slow the natural absorption rate of water vapor. But the true test of any fluid is how well it resists aeration and compressibility after it has been heated and pressure cycled a few hundred times. The real test is at the track. EXP has proven to maintain firm pedal feel and quick response, long after others have failed.
Where's the proof? A Winston Cup car racing for 500 laps at Martinsville is the most grueling brake test in all of motorsports. The brakes will be applied up to 1,000 times, plus pit stops, at sustained high heat and repeated high pressure. IRL, CART, ASA, Busch, Craftsman Trucks, and a whole world of other oval and road course competition series also demand extreme performance from their brake systems. EXP 600 Plus has passed the test in every series!
We have a full case of 6. Retails for $19/piece.
Buy 1 for $9 or get all of them for $40
We are located at Texas Motor Speedway and are selling several different out of our garage. If you have any questions, or are looking for anything specific please contact me. Thanks!

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Turbo....that article you posted is from freaking 1996! It is ancient and way way outdated. Lubrication technology changes on a daily basis, with the discovery of new organic friction modifiers and anti-wear additives. It's a different world.... </end quote></div>
ROTFLMAO, and you don't think they put new(er) anti-wear additives or friction modifiers in dino oil? Or is syn the only oil that marches on.
By the way; name 5 new anti-wear additives they put in new 08 oil that they did not have in 96. Go ahead, name them.
In reallity, oil has gotten "slightly" worse in the last 2 or 3 years because of emission standards. They lowered some anti-wear parts and increased others.
In fact, the #1 selling syn oil in the world, MOBIL 1 downgraded their oil since the big dino, syn oil lawsuit.

Sorry jumbofrank, I was incorrect; IT"S NOW OVER $16 a quart for the good stuff!!!!!!!!! And they want almost $8 bucks a quart for ATV dino oil!!! What sort of a dumb #$%#$ would buy dino oil at 8 bones a quart???!!!! LMAO I see one hand up in the room!!!! LOL
Check it out.
$16 per quart oil
Recon, you still have not answered my question: I have a few more now. LOL
#1 Show me "your" dyno chart that proves your fancy oil makes over 1 HP on your "quad."
#2 Tell me how many engines you have built in your life?
#3 How many championships have you won?
#4 How many track records do you have?
#5 How many oil analysis have you had done on your oils?
And #6 WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR BEER DUDE??? ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!

For $64 a gallon that must be some really good beer.
Since I can't get an answer I'll just assume that I won't see any signigicant improvement and this snake oil isn't worth it.

Amsoil 0w-40w atv oil... for wet clutches, good cleaning capabilities, changed oil in august oil still looks like brand new after some serious time... great oil a bit spendy $25 or so for 3 qt, but great stuff, GREAT! i run amsoil in everything i own my vehicle can go up to 10,000 miles, but every three thousand i change my WIX filter and put a fresh qt. in to juice up the additives again, i use it in rear-ends, transmissions, chains, cooling, snowmobiles, boats, whatever needs to be lubed up i use it!
