teardown / rebuild
#1
would like to do a complete teardown of my kawasaki bayou 250's (05 and 06), but need some advice. i think i would tear one down at a time, as the first one will undoubtedly go slow, and the second faster with the kinks worked out.
anyways, the bikes work find and drive and all, but they both sputter when given gas WOT. i think a top end rebuild is in order (replaced spark plugs, tore down and cleaned carbs, changed oil, use 91 octane gas always..)
my question is: what should i be looking to replace when tore down? what are the typical bearings / parts that wear out? thinking about putting a rhino coating on all frame parts or repainting frame, but not sure yet.
any advice or ideas are appreciated.
