DYNOJET WORTH THE $$$$$$$???????
#11
I can't really say much regarding 4 strokes. However, I have a 99 Banshee, and a friend of mine has a 2000.
We both have FMF Fatty pipes, K&N Filters, and Coolheads. The only differences are I have 20 cc domes, he has 22 cc domes, plus I have the Dynojet jet kit. He's running 270 mains, I'm running 280 mains. He runs stock needles, I run the Dynojet needles.
In a drag race, I can consistently beat him by about 2-3 lengths. I also outweigh him by about 40 lbs. My mechanic is convinced that the Dynojet needles really help to wake up the pipes, and make big differences compared to stock needles.
My personal opinion is they certainly help. Are they worth the money? Only you can say. For myself, I am glad I spent the money.

the most important part of the kit is the needle.i know their different because i had a dynojet kit in my 00 Banshee i just sold.the needle was longer and smaller in diameter compared to the stock needle.also,i didnt use the jets in the kit on the banshee because they were too small.i had to run 290's.i know that little things make a big difference on a 2 stroke.this big 4 stroke is new to me as far as tuning one.im going to try the kit anyway.its not really costing anything because im trading stock parts for the kit and the labor.
