What modifications have been done?

When did the problem start?

Did you just change something (pipe, filter, etc.) then the problem started?

More info!

Drain the fuel if it's old. Clean the carb. That should do the trick.

Put the other main jet back in.
Run it and see how it acts.
While the jet is out flush gas through the carb and into a glass or jar, you might just have gotten a little dirt or something it there.
Make sure the hole in the jet is open, clean, and the one you wanted in it.
Check the plug. Is it black or white?
I would guess its going to look wet and the problem right now is a slight flooding.
At worst take the carb off and give a good inspection. might be a dumb little thing like the choke cable slightly open.
Hard to tell from your info. Just keep at it and you'll get it.

When was the last time you cleaned your air filter?
no air = no power
Before you pull your carb apart check the little things first!!

If you have a foam filter and it sits alot the filter oil gets really gummy and thick. This really starves the bike for air.

thanks everyone for responding.this is what i have done ive changed the jets back & fourth.i tried to take the carb out but didnt know how to take the cables off.so i could soak it in cleaner.i put new gas in it ,still no luck.its so wierd you try to give it gas then it just bogs, but if you keep rev it ,it will take off,but if you slow down .then you have to start all over, should i soak the in carb cleaner ,or straight gas?this thing is really pissing me off.i checked the plugs a couple of weeks ago it was a brownish black color the outside was black & wet.i cant figure out if its getting to much gas or not enough does anybody have an easy way to tell.

thanks

the plug was black and wet, and the electrode was brown.
Was it tan brown or a wet darker looking brown? Look in a auto book for a plug color chart and make sure the plug reads right. Sounds like it is flooding out, almost as if the choke is part way on.
In a clean place remove the air filter and run it "in nutral" for a test.
Could be as simple as a super plugged filter.
Seams like it would have run similar with both main jets though.
If it ran fine until you changed the main jet, it almost has to be a carb problem.
Are both jets going in easy? Is it possible you cross threaded the threads and its not seating all the way down?
Any "O" rings or gaskets look like they needed replacing?
In a carb the slightest thing could make it run like crap.
It dosn't take much.
If you are truly at the end of your wits with it, try to borrow a carb from the same bike a friend might have or ask your dealer for a loaner.
If nothing works you might have to bite the $$bullet$$ and let the dealer look at it.

thanks mega crash, for helping me.lets start with the filter how can i test it ,do you mean the yellow one or the one inside, another guy had mentioned that filter before ,i cleaned like the directions said in the owners manual, but after i installed it,it seemed like it got worse.no the carb i did notice that it was hard puttin the jet in ,i noticed when i was screwing the jet in,that it would push in to the carb,is that normal, because the last time i put it in it seemed like it didnt push in as easy.the plug the tip of it was kinda tan but not wet, theoutside was wet & black if that has somethhing to do with it.man i cant beleive my luck.i used to have a warrior ,that i had to get rid ofbecause of trans problems.i dont no your real name ,but i commend you for helping me i wish there was more people like you.iam not a mechanic, dont have much time around quads .thank you again.

The best advice?

Without a basic knowledge of maintenance, you may be doing more harm than good right now.

Find a friend who is a good shade-tree mechanic, and ask him to show you the ropes.

If you don't have anyone that can do this, take the bike in to a shop and have them fix the problems. The only down side to this is that you won't learn anything by doing it this way - and it costs more!

Really, no book or online help will get you the basic knowledge you are currently lacking.

You need to be shown by someone else.
