lighten my flywheel

I have 98 banshee some one told me if i lightend my fly wheel it whould rev quiker and makes it faster does any one know how to do this and the cons

if u lighten your flywheel i heard it revs quicker too. But i also heard since its lighter its easier to stall cuz it will stop spinning easier.

Power Playground Racing does this mod for $45. All he has done is where the weights are in the middle of the flywheel he leaves a ridge there, and machines the metal down to a certain point on both sides of it. Looks like your flywheel has a mohawk. I had one done for my banshee, but i'm waiting for my cylinders to come back before I can test the flywheel and see if I even like it or not. he swears i'll be able to tell the difference when I put it in.

You guys were right, it will rev quicker, but it will be more prone to falling off the pipe, or stalling, since the crankshaft has less rotating mass to keep up its momentum. I only recommend this mod for drag racing.
