98 bayou 220, Need float level setting
#1
On my 98 bayou 220, I put a dynojet stage 1 in the carb it runs great now except it won't idle worth a darn. I tried leaning or riching the mixture no luck. If I turn off the gas to allow the fuel level in the bowl to drop it smooths out. The idle goes high low and then dies erraticly

I don't know if you have found the information that you need. The setting for the float is 21.8 mm from the bottom of the carb to the flat part of the float. What groove on the needle do you have set at? Do you have the right Main jet for your altitude? Did you set your air screw, it should be turned in all the way then backed out 1 and a half turn. Also I had idle problems with mine, before I put on a jet kit, all it needed was for the carb to be cleaned. It had sucked some oil from the filter and it was deposited all on the inside of the carb. I cleaned the whole carb with carb cleaner and did not have any problem with it since. Also check to make sure all of the o-rings are in place.
