I say there is nothing better than the feeling of a job well done when you take care of it yourself. There is nothing like the feeling of getting out the trusty dremel tool and doing your own work. Man I tell you. You can really hog out those cluttered ports! If time is an issue you can always leave the cylinders on the cases. It saves time!

Overheard from the 250R gawd himself: "I can build motors most people dont have the talent for"

Wait till you get the Hardbody/Mac Racing 500R...that's somewhere near Level 2 from what I hear...

I assure you MEK will tell you every little detail about the way he'll do your motor if you ask, including exhaust and transfer port timing, unlike most companies. The Stages he lists are more less just for price reference and a general idea of what you want out of the machine, it more less depends on the amount of time he will have in the cylinder. My Blaster's exhaust will open at 85 degrees atdc and the transfers at 115 atdc. Auxilaray ports will also be added. Try to get Curtis Sparks, Mark Baldwin, CT, Trinity, LRD to tell you that info, it won't happen.
