i was wondering if the Vito pistons that are standard size would
help any with performance or would i really have to bore the sleeves out
a little ...i know i would get more power with the bigger pistons but
would i get any icrease with the standard size? how do these compare
with the wiseco +6hp(??) power pistons for the banshee also i have a
coolhead and i was told i cant run thewiseco pistons with the
coolhead...thanx

I'm not too big of a help,but I'll try.If you were to go to a lighter piston with a boost port job(allow more fuel to inter chamber sooner).You might pick up alittle more power.It probably isnt noticable.NAC's i think sells them.CT Racing makes pistons with different wrist pin locations so that the rod angle is lessoned causing less strain on your engine and more power and life.Though,I know you would have to purchase a longer con-rod to accommodate the new pin location.Since you have cool heads you shouldn't need those 6HP pistons.They get the horsepower from the added compression the pistons add.Prepare to run straight race fuel with that much compression.All you have to do is go to a smaller dome on your cool-head to change compression to get more horsepower,but you must run race fuel with more compression.I think you can go down to a 18 dome.21or 22 is pump gas ,lower than this and you must raise the octane.I cant be sure if you can run the 6hp pistons with cool-head but you can run standard,pro light and boost ported wiseco's with your cool head.I dont know how much hp is produced from the change in domes ,but im sure it could be close.

 

Well pedro pretty much said everything that iwas going to. One other thing, the wiseco +6hp piston and the vito pistons are the same thing. Vito makes them both.
