I have a set of clamp on air filters on my banshee there great for the circle track and dunes but this time of year I really like to venture out into the woods and as any one knows winter and spring time are the times when there is mud, water and other things that dont agree well with the clamp on air filters.I have a set of larger 38mm lectrons and have gotten rid of my air box(figures as soon as you sell something that you think you'll never need agin you'll find a need for it) And i was thnking for the rainy season, if the factory air box would work with my carbs? the lectrons have a much larger filter clamp on surface than the stock carbs so I would have to make something to adapt them down to the stock air box fittings.

This is a delima I too have been facing. I've tried using the stock airbox modified to fit the Lectron's on my 96 banshee, and there is just too much airflow reduction to allow it to run "right". I've tried numerous other ways to protect from the "wetter" elements but can't seem to find just the right combination.

If anyone out there has found the right combination, I'd love to know what it is too.
