well, cleaning your carbs is easy..why pay someone to do that...

and its pretty hard to mess up your machine while dyno testing it

have fun, and let us know what comes up on the dyno

Clean the carbs yourself. That is simple as it gets. I dont like trities dyno. It is homemade and the numbers it reads are too high. I have a very good friend who has a 15,000$ dynojet dyno, and his reads as much as 10-20 hp lower than trinities. We have personally seen motors that dynoed 72hp on triniy's dyno only dyno 58hp! The trinity dyno is also a dyno jet dyno, but it was made for watercraft or something and then they modified it to work for atv's. Dynojet themselves say it is inaccurate. I will say this, trinit motors have made the most hp that i have seen, but they are the slowest on the track. There powerbands are very narrow and week. Other than that i like trinity! LOL!

I had trinity do porting and head work on my 250R. I must say they did a great job, very clean work done by Harry himself about a year ago before they got to big. Nice improvement over stock.I have seen work done by others witch did not compare. Just my nicks worth.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I have heard that the dyno that Trinity uses measures HP at the crank, and not at the wheels, and that is why it is so high. I know my friend's "58" HP Trinity built 250r motor can't touch my 45 HP 250r motor.

Most people dont understand how to read a dyno chart. Most of the time we are caught up in peak hp, but thats no the key. The key is how broad the power is, which determines its usefulness. If you could port a banshee to about a 500rpm wide band, you would have a 350cc machine make close to 100hp.. The problem is it would be unridable and useless power. The best engine is the one that has a nice high peak, but stays on that peak without sharply falling. The slope leading to the peak should have noo dips and rise smoothly. The peak shouldnt actually be a peak, but a plateu. You can in fact look at a dyno sheet and tell which bike will be faster for certain applications. Trinity's dyno is a rear wheel dyno, but like I said it is a modified watercraft dyno. They built theres before atv dyno were produced. FTZ on the ohter hand uses a crankshaft dyno. The crankshaft dyno is the truest reader of true engine hp, but rear wheel dyno's let you know what you are actually getting to the ground.

Trinity Racing sucks!

I have tried to call them for Tech assistance and all I spoke to was an arrogant technition and then a spoiled rotten parts person (she really thought she knew it all, what a #@^%!!!). All of this on my dime (they won't give advice on their 1-800 line. You gotta call them at another number on your dime).

Go with all Lonestar Products. Everything they make is the best and the Warranty service you get is second to none. Dan Fisher, the owner, and his gorgeous (I mean gorgeous and nice) girlfriend, Lori, are sincere, trustworthy and very easy to talk to. If they don't got it, go with Pro-Design. I have had to get Technical advice from them several times, and even though it is on my dime (they don't have any 1-800 lines), the owner came on the phone and very patiently, gave me exceptional and accuarte directions! I have bought almost every product both Lonestar and Pro-Design have made simply because of their attitudes. I have over $25k in my Banshee, so both have made some $$$ of me. Trust me, it was very well worth it!

Good luck and Trinity Racing sucks!

Rob R.

I wouldn't recommend Trinity Racing for anything!
