I am from Louisiana. I found a guy in Monroe Louisiana the would powdercoat my frame, without the subframe for 80$. I would send it to him already blasted. I thought this was a great deal. You guys should give him a call and see what he can do for you. His name was Don, he sounded like "one dem good o country boys"......here is his number Powder Coat Inc 318-361-3864.

A little Tip: To find the nearest Coater near you, go to msn.com, and use their yellow pages, type in "powder coat", leave the city blank, and put your state in. Hit enter, it will show you the companies statewide.

Wow, that is/was a good price! I had a Banshee frame, swing arm, hubs, Fender support bars, steering stem, foot pegs, rear brake lever and front rotor shields done and it cost me $250.00. One thing that may have added to the cost was I had different parts done in different colors.

I had a YZ490 frame powder coated for $190. That included stripping it. I did not price what it would cost if I had brought extra parts, by I don't think that it would make much difference. When spraying a tube frame, more material is lost than actually ends up on the frame. Many small parts could be done at the same time without much more material on their part. Their is extra time involved in hanging the extra parts.
