MX Ready 300EX
#1
I would like to know what all things would be needed to turn a 300EX into a serious motocross racer? I know of like the quad would need new shocks, handlebars, tires, a wider axle and A-arms, and a big bore and stroker kit, but what else would it need? Also around how much would it cost to turn this mild-mannered trail machine into a mind-boggling motocross competitor--- something to make it run w/ the MX ready 400EXs and 250Rs

i have a TC 4405ex the motor work was around $2500 i also have a 250R front end welded to the 300ex frame shocks are another money factor anywhere from 500-1200 for the front and the same for the back steering stabilizer and anti vibe steering stem now that the motor work is done u also run VP 114 octane fuel thats around $7 a gallon Also look into rear beadlocks turf tammers and rikens or marshall radials for the front
hope this helps email if u have any questions

No matter what just buy a 400ex. My best friend dumped $9000 into his 300ex when I had my Warrior. I bought a 400ex and was equal or better in all aspects (jumping,cornering,accelerating,etc...)
He had a 305kit White Bros header and pipe, carb, cam, valve springs, etc....Works ultracross rear and triple w/ cans in front, durablue x-33 rear axle, 400ex A arms, etc...
He pulled the parts off (that he could)and traded it in on a brand new 400ex.
