Wheel Spacers??
#3
Nope never bought wheel spacers.....Ended up changing the front end instead...
I have heard of the spacers stressing the stock parts...but never tried them....
Another alternative is to get offset rims...they will make the wheeler wider, without gaining the weight of the spacers.(which is prolly next to nothing anyway)

If you want to be able to turn, I wouldn't spend the money on spacers. When you widen the front end that way, you change the steering by moving the wheel away from the center line of the spindle. when you do that any bumps you hit will be more magnified and it will also push more in corners. It may seem like a cheap upgrade at the time, but wider a-arms are the way to go even over off set rims also. I feel the same way about rear wheel spacers, instead of spending $50 on spacers, you might-as-well save up for an adjustible, lifetime warranty axle. Reason being, is that you overly stress the stock axle with spacers and it will bend much easier, especially if you race (Which is the only time people want the rear wider anyway) you bump tires, land hard off jumps, and maybe crash once-in-awhile, and your bound to bend an axle. Personally every aftermarket axle I have owned I have bent just landing off the big jumps I do, but they are fixed for very little (Unless you buy a DuraBlue and they pro-rate the cost after the first axle, thus no real liftime warranty; I stick with Lonestar or RPM now)...
