I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase powdercoat?? I found a little powdercoat system. My friends and I were going to split the price but we can't seem to find any powdercoat. Any help is appreciated.

No prob!
They've got a few different colors, and the spray gun set-up too.
Just type in "powder coat" into the search box, and it should take you straight to the powder paints. Hope you find what you are looking for.

2fun, I'm also interested in painting my trx250r frame with powder coat. I visited the site you indicated. My question is, if I only need the powder coat system and the paint? How do i Prepare the frame for this type of paint? Do I need to sand it down to bare metal or to eliminate the shine on the old paint. Your help is greatly appreciated.

JJFAT;
That system only works if you are going to paint small parts (small enough to put into an oven).
Powder coat paint has to be baked on. Unless you have an oven big enough to put an entire frame in, you will have to send it out to be powder coated.
Prepping the parts;
Most people sandblast the parts they want powder coated.
Sanding it down to bare metal would take an awfull lot of time and effort. Sandblasting is quicker, and does a good job of stripping all the paint off.
Generally, the company that does the powder coating also offers this service for an extra fee.
Good luck! A fresh powder coated frame really does make the quad look a lot nicer!

I just picked up the frame for one of my banshee's this weekend from a powdercoater. I had the frame, a-arms, swingarm, bearing carrier, brake hub, sprocket hub, front and rear wheel hubs, spindles, brake master and wheel cylinders, steering stem, cylinders and head powdercoated. He sandblasted and prepped it (masked off everything), painted and cured it, and then took all of the tape off and finished it (removed paint from holes, ports). The total bill came to just over $200. I thought it was reasonable. He had almost 10 hours in blasting and painting alone. It is beautiful, and the talk of all my friends.

$200 for all that powdercoating is an excellent deal.that is way beyond reasonable.the powdercoater put alot of work into those parts and i know how much work it is cause i do it myself.and i would have charged more then that for all the stuff you had done.so you got a good damm deal.

I'll say you got a great deal!!
The powder coaters here wanted $80 to coat my wheeliebar + $100 for a color they didn't keep in stock! & my wheelie bar was bare new metal!!
Needless to say I had it chromed instead! It was also $80.
