Hey, we just got 2 feet of snow here and a took my OLD snowmobile out:I buried it deep. I wanted a snowmobile with electric start, reverse, clutch, a 6-spd transmission and something thats actually doesn't weigh a ton!! The answer to my question was my 96 Warrior!! So I discovered Sno-Traxx kits. I was wondering if anyone had any info on these or actuall has this kit? Thanx 4 any info.

Don't waste $2000 on a Sno-Traxx kit. I wouldn't. I've researched a conversion kit, and I think they're bull. I would love to take my quad on all the trails and lakes here in Minnesota, but I don't think it would work. No, I've never seen one or ridden one, but I don't think they are worth $2000. In powder, you are going to high center and there isn't a fat chance in hell that you'll be able to keep up with any snowmobile, anywhere! Look at the power to weight ratios. A 440 pound quad with 23 horsepower compared to a 500 pound snowmobile with 90 horsepower. Snowmobile suspension is first rate, too. I think a conversion kit is a scam, but that's my opinion.
