i just put on fmf pipes and i bought reeds and jet kit. i installed the pipes myself, but i really don't know how to install the reeds and jet it. is it hard or should i get a mechanic to do it? if its not that hard, where could i get some good advice for installing it??

Its really preety simple...i also had not done either..but,when it came time to do all the work it was simple...get a manual,read about the carbs and reeds and just follow the directions...also i always keep everything i take off my quad on a clean towel,so i dont lose ant parts...
If i were you,i wouldnt pay any over priced mech..

I just did the jetting and put pipes on myself as well. It is really easy but you can get stressed out. Doing two carbs always sucks but hey hopefully it's only once. The best info I can give you is go to Toomey's website (www.toomey.com) and follow their instructions. Good luck!
