why don't you e-mail Mike Penland at ATVSport& ask him? He writes a column for the mag and as a factory rider for Kawasaki, I understand he's running the Supertrapp in GNCC this year.
I run the older model with the outside discs & am very happy with it. It can be tuned for the style you ride form 4 discs for low to six or so for mid, & up to 20 for top for desert, which I ride.
