What is racing in a Harescramble like? I used to roadrace streetbikes and that was fun for the first 2 years, then it got too serious, which took the fun out of it. What stuff would you need for you and the bike? Is this fun, or just a money pit?

 

Your quad has to be equipped with nerf bars, teather kill switch, and have a front bumper.
Rider must wear complete safty gear(boots, pants, chest protector, helmet, goggles, shoulder pads, etc)
It can get pretty expensive if you don't own all of the gear. I would recommend going a watching a race, before you get started in doing it.
