Anyone tried the new Exhaust Fragrances?
#1
August 2002 Dirt Wheels, Page 190, has a small article on "Exhaust Fragrances."
They cost $10.00 to treat 20 gallons of fuel.
They come in grape, cherry, root beer and cocnut and are suppossed to make your exhasut smell great without causing any type of damage to your engine, regardless of the fuel type.
In fact, according to this article, top fuel dragsters use a similar product to "mask" their alcohol burning engine's repugnant odor.
Has anyone tried this? Which is the best fragrance?

Ive smelled the grape and cherry. I like the grape! Most guys that run alcohol run the additive for the reason you describe, to mask the smell of the alcohol. Remember, alot of guys that run that kind of setup are probably running drag pipes, which in many instances, exit out of the side, so the rider will smell it quite a bit.

I went ahead and ordered 2 bottles of the Cherry.
It sounds kinda fun!
Has anyone else tried these fragrances?
Roostking: I just went to your site and saw one of your Banshee has Drag Pipes. What brand are they?
I have Drag Pipes also and would like to know where to get that rubber lined bracket you have on each pipe just before it begins bending up towards the rear? This bracket is about 8 inches below your exhaust flange and appear to bolt onto the lower frame. What is it and where did you get it? Are you concerned that it might make the pipes too rigid and susceptible to cracking since they are attached so tightly to the frame?
