To share my own experience with Sparks. I ordered one of thier Raptor exhausts when they first came out. At this time they were just getting ready to make them from stainless steel rather then mild steel with the coating on it. They took my name and number and said they should be ready in a couple of weeks. Well they never called me. This was was over a year ago now. I since firguired they didn't need or want my business that bad then. F'em!
I have also heard ALOT of other stories of Sparks being late for anything from carbs to pipes to motor work, late all the time. Busy or not, they have no respect for the general public wanting to do business with them.
I for one will not call there for anything again. There are too many other good perfomance shops that want my business, show me respect and come through on a timely basis.

I called on a Thursday (in January) to order a X6 with stainless head pipe & spark arrestor, They said they didn't have one but would build me one on Fri & ship it out the same day, I recieved it on the following Wendsday.
I've had nothing but good experiances with Sparks.

I have dealt with them on several occasions with varied results. I have heard other people complain about them and it seems to be the same kind of complaint...they say they can get something done in a certain time frame and then it never happens.
For me calling them was the only way to get results. Personally, I like Scott, but he seems to be very busy. I have only talked to Curtis a couple times and he was also a nice guy. However, being nice doesn't run a business. There were several instances where I called and was told something that did not happen. Which is unfortunate, but if you want a Sparks engine or pipe you are probably going to wait...is it worth the wait...possibly. I was able to do alot of things because I had such a great motor, and I guess I owe that to Sparks.
I know what it is like to be in a business that you are almost too busy. I work in a large and very successful locally owned landscaping business, and I have to watch my boss make promises that he has no intentions of keeping all the time.
Sorry, this is such a long post, but anyway good luck, with Sparks. If you do get a hold of their product I know you will like it.

Dan,
I would call them and tell them you want the pipe shipped ASAP or you are done doing business with them. If you want to borrow or buy my TT pipe the next time I see you you can. It isn't mint or anything but at least you can see if it is "the pipe for you". I would love to run it for MX but I don't have the ambition to change pipes and deal with sealant problems.
