I'm making a wheelie bar for the DS for sand drags.

It's not clear what dimensions work best - length, height off ground at far end, angle of bar, etc.

Any suggestions or pics?

Thanks.

I'm looking for a wheel to use. I think I need a lightweight wheel & tire that is not real tiny or too narrow like pro stock cars run, since it will be buried in sand getting sand in the bearings.

Try a racing slick for a go cart.

The only way to figure out length or height is to try differnt settings. The first one I made is heavy and unfinished. The wheel is adjustable up and down in and out, to an extent. I have not had a chance to do enough trials yet to get it set right. When I get the right dimensions I will make one that looks good and is lighter.

Just take a piece of alumimnum or metal, and weld it down. Thats what my wheelie bar has.. no tire, just a plate.
