I HAVE A 1984 ATC250R AND AM FEELING THE NEED FOR MORE SPEED I NEED HELP TO GO FASTER.MY MODS ARE AS FOLLOWS

BORED 30 OVER
PORTED AND POLISHED
K&N FILTER
DG PIPE
DG SILENCER
ANY HELP WILL BE APRECIETED

you might a get a fmf ram valve or something like that. later

Are you still running the stock carb? If so you will probably see a big gain since it has already been ported and piped up. A different reed cage as well as a reed spacer will finish it off nicely. If this is still not enough try running alcohol. I think the '84s were air cooled? If so then alcohol would definetely be they way to go to help keep it cool also. Alcohol really wakes up blasters. I have seen one on it with a 240 kit that would run with a mildly done Banshee (pipes,porting non big bore stock carbs).

My friend has a 350 big bore kit on his ATC250R. It's pretty fast. It will run with banshee's up Sand Mountain, Utah. He wheelies up the whole mountain!
