Well for those of you who remeber my posts from about 4 months ago...

My project of the LT-250R frame with XR-350R motor is coming along well.Today was the first test of the electrical/fuel system with the motor in the frame.....

Sounds mean....Can't wait to ride it.Just have to finish the exhaust,lights,wheels/tires,plastic,and air filter.another week or so and it should be ready for a test ride.

Up-date on the xr-350r quadracer project.

Last weekend was the first ride.Just a rolling frame & motor. No plastic, nerfs or rear brakes.Just trying out the gearing and general rideability.

And the verdict is.....

Way to low of gearing. With the 14 tooth front and 42 tooth rear sprockets and 22 inch rear tires 3rd gear starts were easier than 1st gear starts on my banshee and 4 gear starts were possible.I have a 32 tooth rear on the way should make a much better ride. But so far the power is great.

First trail ride with the lt-350xr....

I cahnged the rear sprocket to a 32 tooth and got the air filter situation worked out.

This thing is down right rude.I'm now geared a little to high for the quads original purpose of hillclimbing(I'm gonna try 35 or 36 tooth rear.).

As it is it makes a good trail bike excepth that the front end is real heavy...again made for climbing the motor is heavier and farther forward than the suzuki 2 stroke.

Seems real fast though we didn't drag race and the ****er was a little low for my riding boots.I had no trouble keeping up with my friends modified banshee and both of us ran away from the 250x and Lacota we were with.

Can't wait to try it at the hillclimbs....
