im going to swap out the motor and am lookin for ideas,i was thinking ether a 500-600 street bike motor or mybe a 500+cc two stroke.i do plan on making the rear arm longer.and the only thing im worried about is trying to get a massive motor in the little chassis.has any one else did this?ok thanks

 

well I used to have a 87 mojave but we replaced the motor with a 91 kx250 2-stroker and it was scary fast, I think that motor was big enough , I tell ya it will run about 90mph stock!

 

my mojave is a 95,the guy i bought it off ran it hard.becouse it needs a rear axle(its been broke and rewelded), new sprokets,and break callapers and new rear bearings and all the tires are BALD thay will make good racing slicks for the street!i blew the motor up 3 times in it,even had a guy work on that was the head mech at kawasaki for 12 years and it still had problems so im swappin it out.
