First off the hubs have to be torqued to only 12 foot pounds, too tight or too loose can cause problems, plus if certain the armature plates, hilliards are reinstalled properly and torque is right, and both strut wire connectors are secure, then a lot of times a worn switch in the shift box will cause loss of awd. Most of the ones I encountered the awd light would come on in low range,BUT not in high!(A lot of people left em in high range!) Try pushing on the lever a little harder forward and see if light comes on. If it does, replace the switch in the shift box. OPT
