1996 polaris xplorer 400 2 stroke question
Hey everyone! im very new to the quadding game and thought id ask some pro's a question or two. My uncle gave me his 96 xplorer 400. it runs great, starts great and is in overall great shape. he bought a side by side so he kindly passed this on to me. The issue that it has is when it heats up it "pukes" the antifeeze out of the overflow bottle. he told me he hadnt looked into it since he was buying another one. i literally just got it home about an hour ago. I took my boy around the yard a few times and put it away. Id like to get into it and look around but thought id ask for some advice before i do. Is there anything i should look for? Thanks alot for any advice...i appreciate it!

Welcome to the forum! First off does the fan come on?If not that could be the problem, getting hot nd puking coolant out? The radiator sensor had reputation for burning out not allowing fan operation also.Plus occasionally caps themselves can be bad. Another thing could be trapped air in the system, remove radiator cap and run until fan comes on(if fan operates) should remove any air pocket.Another way is to bleed the 10mm bolt at the back of the head until air bubbles(if any) are removed. Just a few of the things that could be happening, hope this helps you track it down. Keep us updated! OPT
