Ooops...I was trying to check AC amps between the yellows and did a yellow to red and that blew the fuse in the harness by the battery. I didn't get a reading on the yellows I tested....but then again I'm not sure I was doing the test correctly. Probably just spring for the rectifier and see what happens.

 

Cheapest way to go at this point! Try Cycle Parts Warehouse or Cheap Cycle parts and compare prices. Might be some other oem suppliers out there that might be cheaper? OPT

Looks good enough. Rm Stator home page shows it exceeds oem specs plus one year warranty. Better price than any dealer would give you. OPT

 

Stopped at local dealer to get a fuse and the service guy there said to bring it in and he would test the stator for me. Turns out I have a short in one of the 3 coils, so the stator is bad.
