Default Reverse wont work Polaris trail boss 330

I put this in the other forum by mistake. when I pull the shifter into reverse I can feel it shift but when I try to move, it acts like Im in neutral. Surely its the transmission.

Check the linkage assy and the shift lever (belcrank) on the gear case to see if it's stripped. If every thing is tight and runs in forward gear, then it could possibly be internal gear problems. Plus are you pushing the reverse override button to allow full power to reverse? Could be as simple as a reverse limiter problem.OPT
