Can someone tell me what these wire-harnesses/sensors are?

Code 42,45,36 is a Tbap problem.80% of the efi problems are wiring related, not the sensors themselves! This is from the manual. Check further down this wiring into the main harness for any bare/worn wires or even soft feeling wires(internal breakage) Even the connector itself is crappy. I replaced Polaris kits, same wiring and connectors over and over. On some machines multiple times. The Polaris kits are just the same connector and about 8 inches of the same thin gauge wires that will cause problems again. If you can find the problem, hopefully you can at least splice/repair it to where you can ride.

Ok....eating dinner. When I ohm check the T-BAP wire it checked good but i didn't check to see if any of the wires were shorted to ground. I will check and let you know after dinner. Thanks for the expert advice.

Default Ecu wire harness

Ok...I just posted another one. I ohm checked all 4 wires between the connecter at the ECU harness and the T-BAP plug and no shorts to ground or to any other wires so I think that is fixed. However, in the process of doing this I found many of the wires going to the ECU are shorted to ground. Here are the follow pin # as you look a the pins when unplug from the ECU.

Starting from top left row: pin# 2,3,4,8,9,11,12,13,14,15,16
Starting from bottom left row: pin# 1,2,12,13,14,15

I would send picture of what I'm referencing but I'm new to this forum and don't have the ability to attach pictures yet.

What are your thoughts? Should these be shorted to ground? Tomorrow morning I plan to peel back the tape and loop so I can look for broken wires that are shorted to the frame. I just find it hard to believe all of these are shorted?

Replace the Tbap harness kit first to see if it solves all your problems. Most of the time it does.Especially if it's still throwing 41 and 45 codes. If you need a manual for the wiring harness here's a link to a pdf service manual for your year model 800.
