question about primary clutch removal
hi guys, i was trying to remove the drive clutch from my 96 scrambler 400. i used a 3 inch ratchet extension from my 3/8 ratchet, and a 3/4 inch fine thread bolt. the problem is that i put the ratchet extension in small end first, so as i was tightening the home-made clutch puller with the impact wrench it just drove the ratchet extension into the engines output shaft. the engine is toast so i dont care about the output shaft. however a horrible thought ocurred to me, will the thick end of the ratchet extension which is stuck in the output shaft keep the clutch from coming off?
i tried to get a look at a primary clutch and watched several videos on youtube, but they never turn the clutch over so i can see the bottom....

i took a picture to better show you what i meant. i found out that the extension isnt stuck in the output shaft but the fat end of the extension is mushroomed from the pressure of the bolt so i cant get it out past the 3/4 inch threads that the puller screws into ;(
is the bore of the clutch open (except for the 3/4 inch threads that the puller threads into), or is there some kind of retaining "spacer/washer" that rests against the engine output shaft? if i could see a clutch from the bottom i could tell.
