NO loctite.. If anything a dab of oil on the bottom of the threads as the torquing,loosening and torquing again on the head bolts allows for any bolt stretch. Plus could possibly be a bear if you ever had to remove them again and the last thing you'd want to happen is to strip out threads in the aluminum block or possibly break a head bolt. Same principle that a lot of auto manuals tell you to use a dab of anti seize on spark plugs in an aluminum head to keep from damaging threads.

so i couldnt find the TDC mark but the piston is at TDC and before i took the rockers off there was no tension on them(i could adjust them at this point ya know..) i popped the head and it is for sure at TDC..BUT looks like its centered on the advance marks...it should still be fine and timed if put back together the same way...?
