While you here how do I unsubscribe from a question. When I first started I had a question looking for info on a post and now I get a copy of every post about manuals. I was looking for one and since got it but can't get out of the subscribed manual request. Thanks

NO loctite.. If anything a dab of oil on the bottom of the threads as the torquing, loosening and torquing again on the head bolts allows for any bolt stretch. Plus could possibly be a bear if you ever had to remove them again and the last thing you'd want to happen is to strip out threads in the aluminum block or possibly break a head bolt. Same principle that a lot of auto manuals tell you to use a dab of anti seize on spark plugs in an aluminum head to keep from damaging threads.

It can only fit one way because of the dowel pins on the cylinder..http://www.ebay.com/itm/Polaris-3085371-Head-Gasket-/331660567844?hash=item4d3882a524&vxp=mtr

so i couldnt find the TDC mark but the piston is at TDC and before i took the rockers off there was no tension on them(i could adjust them at this point ya know..) i popped the head and it is for sure at TDC..BUT looks like its centered on the advance marks...it should still be fine and timed if put back together the same way...?
