Blue(medium) loctite is fine. All loctite does is kinda holds the seal in place when it sets and helps stop any oil seepage between the outer seal body and casting.

OK...so here are the specs of the outer seal for the front diff.

30x40x4 The seal itself has no part number. The part number is the dimensions of the seal (you must love Metric for this reason)

The seal is metric and is $4.82 at my local bearing supply store. The kit from polaris is $91.

I'm not sure what years that the front diff will have the same dimensions, but if someone knows, put it into this thread.

Thanks Old Polaris Tech for all your help.

Glad you're getting it back together. Looks like this seal is used on most all the diffs.Even the Rzr guys showed to use the same size seal in their diffs. Front Diff Seals - Page 2 - Polaris RZR Forum - RZR Forums.net

Dang....after a week of being dry, one of the diff seals is leaking again. I will give it the rest of the summer and see if the other starts to leak again. If it does I will replace both one more time. If they leak again after that, I will have to pull out the diff and see what is causing the issue.

My guess is that the Male and Female Hub assemblies are worn and there is too much wiggle when they are set into each other...does that sound like the next logical thing to look at?

Possible the male and female hub assemblies could be worn over time. The splines and teflon guides are tough, but can wear down and cause enough play for axles to move around.

I'm wondering if this leak is a result of the lift and spacer kit that have been installed. Higher and wider will cause more stress....have you ever seen a lift kit cause a diff seal leak before?

Might be a thought to remove the lift and change the seals and see if they leak. If they still leak the I should remove the diff and take a look inside. What do you think?

Never been a fan of lift kits from a mechanics standpoint. Just causes excess wear and tear on drive and suspension components and yes I've seen diff seals leak because of the extreme angle that it puts on drive shafts. Every High Lifter kit that I installed had a caution on the instructions saying to expect increased wear and tear.

Maybe i'll take out the lift and spacers and then change the seals again. That would be much cheaper than replacing the hub...
