there are three lines on the pump one to the tank and one to the carb the third one does it go to the carb or engine. if it goes to the carb where does the port on the engine connect to.

 

How the fuel system works is there are two lines from the tank going to the fuel valve,one line out from the fuel valve to the inlet side(top) nipple on the fuel pump. The second nipple with the fuel filter goes to the left side carb nipple. The third pump nipple marked(P) is the vacuum line that goes to the right side of the carb vacuum nipple.

 

There is a nipple on top of the cylinder head next to the one going to the air filter where does it go.

 

If I remember correctly the coolant filler neck has one hose nipple for the over flow bottle and the nipple on the head is a bleed hose that goes to the filler neck also. Can't remember which hose goes where,but really shouldn't matter.
