No crank from key.
2006 Sportsman 700 EFI
As far as I know all electrical is working except when I turn the key to START I get nothing. No click from solenoid or engine cranking. The engine will fire right up when I jump the solenoid.
I got the quad from an auction so I don’t know any history of the rig. I’ve replaced the solenoid, key switch, kill switch, wiring harnesses for those, and checked all fuses, cleaned connections and grounds.
I researched the wiring diagram and it shows a solenoid wire going to pin 16 on the ECU, but when I check that pin, it is not there and sealed off from the factory.
I’m out of ideas, Any tips?
