Not for sure on your quad but I have lost keys to my H.D. and a couple of trucks and were able to get replacement keys with the VIN numbers. Worth a try.

Well I went to the trailer i stay at for lunch today. I work 14 and 14 as a mechanic for ERA helicopters. And there was a locksmith there making extra keys because they lost some of the keys to the trailers. So I took out the ignition and their gonna make me two keys for $25. How convenient is that. I bring my 400 with me sometimes so i can ride in the afternoonswhen im off

We are not going to tell theives how to hot wire a bike on here. Your Honda dealer can get new keys using a code stamped on the ignition barrel. Alternatively, a complete new ignition key switch unit isn't that expensive, you just thread it through the headstock and plug it into the wiring loom.

Old Post that I missed. Deleted the bypass part.

I know this is an old thread but in case somebody else stumbles across tit I just bought a brand new ignition switch with two keys on Amazon for 10 bucks for my 2004 Polaris Sportsman 600. Just search the part number and you're bound to find multiple options . As for the previous post, a $10 switch and a Phillips screwdriver and you can drive it right out of my yard if it were running right.
