Default 96 Polaris trailblazer 250, clutch problem

I recently bought a 1996 Polaris trailblazer 250 as a non-runner that has been sitting in a barn for around 6 years. I got it going, cleaned the carb, changed the spark plug, put in new oil, fuel and transmission fluid and all that good stuff. At first the CVT clutch was stuck so when I gave it throttle it wouldn't go in and out like its supposed to, after spaying it with PB blaster and hitting it a bit it started going in and out. It gets up to about 10-15 Mph but won't go any faster it just revs really high. Im able to physically push in the clutch to where it stops and it comes all the way back out on its own . The belt Is brand new. If anyone has any ideas let me know!
