I have a 2000 Sportsman 500 that will not start after setting for couple days. To get it to start I have to spray starting fluid on the air filter.
After I do this the machine starts and runs fine until I come back in a couple days. No problem with Revving or Idling after I get it started.
I have pulled the fuel line going to the Carb and fuel runs out in a stead stream. Turned it over with fuel line going into
a can and fuel continued to run so but did not "Pulse" but was a steading stream.
Just wondering why it will not start after setting for a couple days.
