I do not know very much about metal detecting out that way, I do know that we have a couple in the park that have a sluice box and they go out for the day, come back with buckets of dirt. Have no idea if they get color, folks just do give that info out much [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
I live in the Mat valley (Big Lake, Wasilla, Palmer) been here for 57 years now. But mostly I live where ever our motorhome is parked. I was in the telcom business myself, knew a few folks with RCA, but not during the pipeline days. Keep in touch and come on over our way this winter you can show us how a MD works. My wife wants us to get one. We will keep our eyes open (if they are not full of dust) for a RZR flashing past us equipped with a detector.
