Piute trail
#1
Well I just got back from spending 4 days on the trail and I have to say that the RZR preformed flawlessly. Packed with gear and two adults and my friend and I could not keep up with our 700s. It fit every gate we encoutered, even the bridge to the gas station in Filmore and thats with 26" bighorns. I am so impressed that I am considering trading my two 400s in towards a second one.

It's interesting to me that you talk about not keeping up with the Rzr on your 700's (I'm assuming that you all switched back and forth).
I've had a hard time expressing to others my conversion to side-by-sides since '03; so it's nice to see an obvious quad guy tackle one of the most diverse (not to mention sit back and enjoy beautiful) systems in the country...and come back a convert also. I'm not knocking the quads and still have one...I just have little desire anymore to ride it.

Right in the middle of utah. I've lived here all my life and plan on driving he entire loop as soon as I retire.. Do a Piute Trail search and their will be lot's of info. I only have 130 miles on the rzr and have resealed the intake system, give the exhaust a little more clearence and now ready for some riding..
We will see how it stackes up against my Quads... z400 raptor700 kaw650 and sportsman 500,, I already know this thing is confortable and fun.. Bruce

Thanks Bruce
We are already retired and maybe in our travels we will get over there for that one.
I will google it and see what I come up with.
I'm told the only acc your need on a RZR is a rear view mirror so you can keep track of your friends.
Wish I had 130 miles on mine

I put the rear view mirror on last weekend. I don't think the rzrs will be holding up any quads on the Piute Trail...... My impression is I can ride my all day long and never get tired of it.. Now in the sand dunes that's another story...
my paddle tired raptor 700 will still be king. The nice think about having 4 quads and a rzr is you can have it all... have fun see you on the Piute trail..

I found that the nerf bars are an absolute must for the Piute trail, along with the mirror of course. My 26" Big Horns, I feel, were probably not needed but with the 14" wheels it made it very stable on the high speed turns.
