I just ordered my 2008 Ranger XP and I'm having the dealer install a Warn 4000lb winch, but I noticed the "Polaris" Warn 4000lb winch is the 4.0ci which is an older discontinued Warn model. The new models are the XT and RT series winches. I told the dealer I want one of the new XT or RT series 4000lb. winches instead of the older ci model and he said that he couldn't find any mounting brackets for the newer models and that the "Polaris" branded one is already designed to perfectly fit the Ranger. Has anyone else run into this problem?
