Power Steering Question

Power Steering Question
I have 2011 800XP w/ EPS. Last week I rode it I noticed a rattling sound coming from behind the steering wheel when it was idling, but not while driving. When I parked it, I reached under the hood and felt around to make sure nothing had come loose. But I never found anything.
Yesterday I turned the key 1st click before you start it, and I see the steering wheel jerking left, over and over. Like the powersteering was trying to make it steer. Even after I started it up while letting it idle in N, it kept doing that.
But After I put it in gear and started driving, I didn't notice anything, and it steered fine. After a little driving I stopped and put it back in N, and it was fine.
Any ideas what is happening?

Did you check the fluid level? I would drain it and fill with some fresh and check. If it keeps doing it ask the dealer what's up and ask to see if another machine does it from the floor. Do you have a warranty? If so, use it. If not keep looking. Have not heard of that before. I had PS on my XP850. Never did that. Good luck.

It kind of sounds like your wheels might be getting pushed and the power steering is trying to compensate. If I remember right the Polaris system gives more power to the steering when you are going slow and drops off as you go faster. Might just be the way the wheels or steering wheel was turned.
