Well folks the dealer finally replaced the 700. After me and my buddy both had 03 700's with the paint popping off the welds and cracks in the frames. My buddy got his machine replaced a couple weeks ago but they gave me hell. Their position was that the paint popping off the welds was acceptable can you believe that?? as for the crack in the frame they didn't even want to talk about that. So polaris said all they would authorize the dealer to do was repair it keep in mind this is a 2 month old machine with 200 miles on it, what a load of crap. My dealer's hands were tied there wasn't alot he could do so he said look, i'll replace the frame or for 500 bucks and your machine i'll give you a new 04 machine, after giving my buddy a new 04 for nothing they hit me for $500 what a deal huh?? yea right! i didnt buy a repaired machine so i didn't want a repaired machine so i gave the man $500 and got a 04 yellow and black 700. Before i left i asked the dealer, what's going to happen when the paint starts popping off this one?? he say's i dont know we'll cross that bridge if we have too. I don't know about anybody else but i don't want to cross that bridge again and do what?? take another $500 beating?? don't think so. Thinking of selling and buying something else. Any offer's.???!!!??
