Try setting the idle down a little at a time and try it until you get it to die.If that dont work let us know.

Default shift linkage?

checked its not the idle. The linkage is way outta postition. When i push forward it is soo close that it is in forward when the neutral light is on and reverse is neutral. I adjusted it but i can't get it right. I can get it the opposite when reverse is with the neutral light on and forward is neutral. But i can't get it correctly set. Is there a certian way to setup the tie rod?

Default shift linkage?

how do i setup the linkage so that it goes into both forward and reverse eaiser but does not change the centering between the two gears. Which way do i turn the tie rods. Does the one that goes to the tranny go in or out. does the one that goes to the gear selector go in or out. Thanks

I wish I could help you on that one buddy, but... never had to do it before. I can tell you that the inner tie rod is for low range which you say is ok and the outer for high range. Here You probably already knew that anyway, but thought I would throw it in for good measure.

Take your clutch cover off and make sure your belt isnnt turning the secondary when it is at idle and in gear.I have had the bushings hang up not letting the primary release all the way.
