2003 400 TrailBlazer - Need Advice
#1
My brother is considering buying a brand new 400 TrailBlazer, but people who do not necesarily know what they are talking about are trying to talk him out of it. He just got rid of an old '86 Yamaha 225 Moto 4, and wants to upgrade to the Trailblazer. People have been telling him that the Blazer will not do mud like his old one...which I just can't believe! He needs to know from guys who know...Is the Trailblazer just a sport bike for dry trails, and sand...or will it do some muddy stuff like any 2x4 should.
He went through everything and them some with a little old 2x4, so I can't imagine the 400 blazer not kicking its *** in style, due to ground clearance, horsepower, etc.!
He plans to buy a Tire that is better suited for the sticky stuff as well...any suggestions there would help him as well.
Please help, so he can sleep tonight feeling that he made a good decision.

I think he has made a good decision. I have 4wd but rarely need to use it, I go everywhere that other 4wds go in 4wd without being in 4wd. HEHE Confusing?? Well, it can go through alot of mud, I promise!!

I have a highly moded trailblazer that does just fine in the mud. Nothing real deep but she throws it great and dont leave me stuck much. I would not expect much more from a heavy 2x4.
